Jump Squad HQ

Who / What is Jump Squad?

Jump Squad is a group of individuals who share a common passion for movement.
The main arts of movement we practice together are Parkour and Freerunning, though we all have our own individual roots, motivations and styles.
While there is a core team who have been mates for years, every one who trains with us regularly at Jump Squad HQ and shares our passions is part of Jump Squad. We are a big family of movers centererd on the Northern Beaches of Sydney and we are dedicated to spreading our passion for movement to as many people as possible, because we know it improves lives and makes our local community a funner, stronger, healthier and safer one.

What about HQ?

Jump Squad HQ is Sydney’s original and best Parkour and Freerunning training facility.
It is a custom built venue where we can teach the highest quality Parkour classes in the country, without worrying about weather or permission.

Testimonials

Dear Djordje,

I just wanted to drop you a quick note to let you know how much my son has been enjoying coming to classes at Jump Squad. Since the first beginner class, I’ve seen his fitness, determination, self confidence and skill increase with each session he has attended.

He’s been to a mix of the sessions – open and basics – and the variety in jumps and discipline he is learning is great. I have seen at home now a willingness to go outside and train in the outdoors – and don’t have to battle with the electronics to get the family outside!

As you know I sit and watch the sessions each week to save going home in between, and I am most impressed with the encouragement shown to all the students no matter what age and ability. You encourage them to push at their boundaries in a safe, fun and interactive setting. The students interact with each other and it’s good to see children and adults of all ages bonding over a common passion of parkour. It is great for young boys as they grow into adults to have such positive role models teaching them to get fit, be aware of their environment and have understanding of others.

We also like that the environment is ‘real’ – it’s not a fancy gym – but an environment in which the kids can relate to each other in a non-threatening setting. As long as you have the right positive attitude you can participate – it’s a sport accessible to all.

Thankyou for setting up Jump Squad – I look forward to many more Sundays sitting in the sofa watching.

Kindest Regards

Sharon

To whom it may concern,

Djordje has been working at NBCS in Term One, 2011 as part of our Parkour program being run by the Australian Parkour Asociation (APA).

We have introduced Parkour as a way of allowing students to learn to express themselves creatively in a non-competitive sporting environment. Our students have thoroughly enjoyed this experience and are keen to continue in future. The APA instructors have connected well with our students and have given clear instructions to help each students develop their skills.

We will be utilising their services again in Term Two, 2011.

Sincerely

Craig Glassock
